What's In

QR Codes A QR code is a matrix code (or two-dimensional bar code) created by Japanese corporation Denso-Wave in 1994. The "QR" is derived from "Quick Response", as the creator intended the code to allow its contents to be decoded at high speed. Printed on the label of a bottle, the consumer has the possibility to scan it with cell phones, and get linked instantly to your website, where they can order wine or get more information about the wine in the bottle.

Thermochromic Ink OKLP partners up with Chromatic Technologies, Inc. CTI are the inventors of the temperature activated inks that we all know as the Coors Light can. This Target Temperature Code (TTC) will allow consumers to know when the wine is at an ideal serving temperature. There will be two temperature indicators: one for white wines and one for red wines. White wine ink will read at 50 degrees and red wines will read at 60 degrees. As part of our extended ongoing service to the wine industry we will be producing this at no extra expense. We invite you to take advantage of this service.
